Mr. Fox was a founding member of Stone, Fox & Ladd,
formed in 1983, and then practiced as a sole practitioner until the
formation of Fox & Foner, LLP, which merged
with BWSB in August, 2003. He has over twenty-five years of experience in
real estate and estate planning. He has represented mortgage lenders in
thousands of real estate closings. For many years, he has represented
Massachusetts Credit Unions as both general counsel and as Real Estate
counsel and has held seminars for credit union members on estate planning
and home buying. Mr. Fox is a title insurance agent for First American,
Fidelity, Lawyers. Commonwealth and Old Republic Title Insurance
Companies.
In addition to lender representation, Mr. Fox has
represented developers, sellers and buyers in all aspects of commercial
and residential real estate. He has spoken at numerous first time home
buyer seminars, and has been a frequent speaker in the City of Boston
Home Ownership Initiative Program. Mr. Fox has also performed extensive
work handling foreclosures, construction contracts, leasing and general
corporate matters, as well as estate planning.
Mr. Fox is honored to have been named a Massachusetts
"Super Lawyer" by Boston Magazine in 2006. Mr. Fox is a
graduate of the University of Rochester (1976) and Boston University Law
School (1979). He is a member of the Massachusetts and New York Bars, and
he is also a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts.
